York Rite Convention Information
The 2008 York Rite Convention
Commandery session was opened by
St Lucie Commandery Nº 17!
BUT that was just the start of the excitement!!!
Next we formed lines and received
Sir Knight Leroy Fackler, Right Eminent Grand Commander of Florida through the Lines
Soon we were alert to the announcement of the Ramsdell trophy winner.
First the third runner up was announced... NOT US!! ... maybe we were second
Then the second runner up was announced... Damascus Commandery No 2...
again NOT US!!! ... maybe we were worse than third?
WOW!
St. Lucie Commandery No 17 won the Ramsdell Trophy!!!
we will have the trophy presented in our Commandery this summer.
THEN the Right Eminent Grand Commander announced the winners of the
Sir Francis Drake Award for the best Commandery in the State of Florida...
WE WON!!! we have this huge sword to display in our asylum
